VISITOR DATA

Visitor data notice

Visit records help us understand public page requests, referral sources and approximate regions. They are not used to identify a person.

What is recorded

Public page request time, path, HTTP status, referral URL without query parameters, allowed UTM attribution, browser language, user agent, an anonymous visitor key and approximate location. The browser also sends an anonymous session ID so the dashboard can show visited pages, effective stay and returning visits. Missing pages and obvious bot requests are kept out of the visitor-session table. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the visit database.

City and retention

The server sends an IP address to a third-party location provider to obtain an approximate country, region and city. Results may be inaccurate and are not a precise address. The first-party session ID contains no name or contact details. Records are kept outside the public site and automatic deletion is not currently configured.
